Cuisinart juicers may be just another one of the culinary giant’s products, but after some research and testing I found a few noteworthy models. Overall, Cuisinart juicers are modern and attractive, perform well and priced reasonably. Not famously great juicers, but good juicers to buy, nevertheless.
Cuisinart Juicer Reviews
Cuisinart CCJ-500 Pulp Control Citrus Juicer
When I was a kid, Ma would get a pitcher of freshly squeezed lime juice on the breakfast table every morning. My Ma would roll in her grave if she knew how much easier it is to make citrus juice now. Anything from large grapefruit halves from teeny weeny lime halves are no problem for the juicing cone.
The reamer automatically reverses to maximize the output and I must say the output is impressive. I never knew I could get so much juice from a tiny lime! The juicer even squeezes all remaining juice from the pulp when you put the cover back on and press down. No doubt this is a juicer that performs beyond expectations (albeit a lot noisier than a manual reamer). Ma would have been proud.

Visually attractive and sturdy looking, this Cuisinart juicer does what it is meant to do; that is to extract juice in style. Why you might ask? To be honest I am taken by the sleek design of the juicer with its illuminating control dial ring (it reminds me of Rey’s lightsaber), its simple lift and lock handles which have a sturdy grasp and its foam-reducing filter basket (who wants foam in their juice?).
Plus its housing is made from an impressive die-cast stainless steel material. Definitely a plus for those who have a liking for sophisticated looks. Performance wise, the Cuisinart centrifugal juicer which sports a 3″ chute allows you to insert roughly cut fruits (big sized chunks) and gives you an option of 5 speed settings.
With a powerful motor of 1000watt, the juicer has no problems juicing all kinds of fruits. But if you are a wheatgrass fanatic *cough* *girlfriend* *cough*, then this centrifugal juicer would not be suitable. You’d best be looking elsewhere. Otherwise, this juicer would definitely impress you. Buy this from Amazon.
Cuisinart CJE-500 Compact Juicer
For a small and compact juicer, this model comes with a pitcher that can hold up to 16 ounces of juice. The pulp container on the other hand can hold up to a massive 40 ounces. I simply insert a plastic bag into the container and throw it when I’m done. Lazy man’s ingenious trick.
It’s simple to operate with only one on/off button (as opposed to the previous model above) and it also comes with a fancy looking safety bar (it resembles a mini gym workout bar). Performance wise, there is nothing much to shout about. It does what it’s meant to do, juice fruits and veggies. I foresee it to be a hit with those who like miniature juice extractors but if you’re a frequent and heavy juicer, then this model might not be for you. Buy this from Amazon.
