I simply love citrus fruit juice. Whenever I’m in the need for a refreshing drink, delicious orange juice or lemonade instantly come to mind. However, creating such a fresh drink wouldn’t be possible without having a citrus juicer in my kitchen.
Citrus juicers are handy kitchen appliances which are necessary to have especially if you are a fan of making your very own personalized citrus juice blends.
Best Citrus Juicers 2016
Here are the three top juicers on the market that will make your juicing experience a pleasurable one.
Black & Decker CJ525
The Black & Decker CJ525 is the cheapest citrus juicer you’ll find on the market. Nevertheless, it provides excellent juicing. Black & Decker never ceases to deliver high-quality products and this is no exception. With its easy-to-use design, this citrus juicer doesn’t give your arms much of a workout. The juicer doesn’t require a lot of pressure to be applied for the juicing process to take place.
Just place your orange, lime or grapefruit on the top of it and watch it do all the work. It comes with an adjustable pulp strainer so it can suit everyone’s preferences, and the capacity is about 1 liter/a quart, equal to 34 ounces.
It’s easily cleaned and isn’t at all bulky, making it perfect for those who like to juice a lot. It also comes with different sized cones which works with all kinds of citrus fruits.
Summing It Up: Highly recommended. Cheap, easy pulp adjustment and easy to use. Click here to read how the juicer fared when I tested it.
Hamilton Beach 932 Commercial Citrus Juicer
Another citrus juicer I recommend is the Hamilton Beach 932 Commercial Citrus Juicer. This is a manual citrus juicer, so if you’re the kind who gets tired quickly, this may not be what you’re looking for. Otherwise, Hamilton Beach 932 is a good citrus juicer to buy as it’s very user-friendly, with a simple design that classic in looks yet remains quite effective.
The juicer has been designed to apply just the same amount of pressure you apply on it without having to worry about any off-axis force that could drip it over. It extracts all the juice efficiently without any traces of citrus oil, and the metal edges are smooth so you can’t get cut.
However, this citrus juicer is pretty tall, making its storage a bit of a problem if you don’t have a cupboard that’s big enough. The other flaw I found was that the cleanup after juicing was a little of a chore. This citrus juicer didn’t have the best design but for $80 it really is a steal.
Summing It Up: Recommended unless you don’t have enough space to store it. Follow this link for a superb bargain on the Hamilton Beach 932.
Tribest CitriStar CS-1000
Tribest CitriStar CS-1000 may be a little expensive but you can be sure that it is a worthy investment. The Tribest CitriStar comes with a very powerful but silent motor that makes the citrus juicer do its job effectively. Ultimately, this motor also makes the juicer more durable. It’ll last for many years to come.
It comes with two reamers, one for smaller fruits such as limes and lemons and another one for larger fruits. It’s very easy to clean and use, not bulky at all so no problem with storage, and on the top of all, it extracts the juice from the fruit completely.
Downside? This citrus juicer doesn’t come with a pour spout and there’s no option for adjustment to stop pulp from coming through, which can be a little problematic if you’re juicing for more than one person.
Summing It Up: No pulp adjustment and a little expensive but very powerful motor makes up for it. Recommended. Click here for more info regarding this stellar juicer and to purchase the juicer from Amazon.
Make sure to read carefully about the features of any citrus juicer before making a decision to purchase it. Think about what you need and whether the juicer offers it. Don’t be hasty! If you want to juice other types of fruits you may want to look at centrifugal juicers instead. If vegetables are on your juicing menu too, you’ll want to look at masticating juicers.
